In the latest installment of Painting Tabled, hosts Jen and Greg discuss the Battle Cry Painting Competition, review a new hobby tool, and talk ETC in preparation for the Bragging Rights Team Tournament. Check out the fancy photos of Greg's competition entries below.
If you said, "they're the bottom-tier armies in Warhammer," then you'd be correct! At least according to popular internet wisdom. In Episode 37, Jen and I discuss whether or not these three really are the bottom of the barrel. And if so, what should tournament organizers be doing to balance them?
When I opened my door this morning, this is what I saw. Yikes! If you live in the Northeastern United States then chances are you're snowed in too. What better time to catch up on some painting and podcasts? I know that's what I'll be doing. :-)
Episode 35 is here and features a turn by turn battle report as Jen tests out her new Ogres in a ETC game against my Beastmen. This is our first time trying out a battle report episode. Be sure to let us know if you enjoy the show and would like to listen to more in the future. Any and all comments/suggestions would be appreciated!
Well, maybe not that clean. Peyton and Jeff joined us for Episode 34 and a few expletives may have slipped through our editing as we discussed our plans for the year ahead. We hope you enjoy.
Happy New Year!
*Shame*
Jen and I are woefully behind in our episode release schedule. We have been faced with a series of delays that are preventing us from putting out a quality show!
First, we recorded an episode and then lost half of it!
After overcoming the soul crushing depression of losing an episode, we were all set to re-record.
But then Jen got sick.
And then I got sick.
And now here we are.
But I promise you we are still cranking out ideas and painted minis and will be bringing you a new episode before Christmas time. Many thanks for your patience and support! <3
Episode 32 is now available. Big thanks to Peyton and Jon for joining us this episode as we talked about Da Boyz GT. Shout out to Mike for sweeping the appearance awards. Listen to his terrain tips and one day you too could have an amazing display board like this:
