The Crossroads GT has come and gone. Despite some initial setbacks and a disappointing turn of events on Friday, I made it out to NY and had a fantastic weekend. I got about an hour and a half of recording on Saturday night, with a whole slew of people hopping on the microphone and chatting about the tournament and Warhammer in general. I've included the pictures of my army on display below. There are a TON more pictures (from games, other armies, etc.) that I'll be posting, so keep your eyes peeled! Also, the sixth episode will come out October 6th and feature our full coverage of the event.
Jen and I are both teachers, and there were some doubts looming over our heads that when the school year began we wouldn't be able to stick to the schedule for the show. In spite of our fears, we've managed to put out both of September's episodes on time. Mission accomplished. We're currently finishing our last minute preparations for the Crossroads GT, which we will be attending this weekend. We're looking forward to playing in the event, meeting lots of friendly gamers, and recording some interviews for the show. We've also ordered some official Painting Tabled swag which we'll be giving out over the weekend. Thanks to all of you who have been listening to the show, recommending it to others, and giving us some great feedback through e-mails and forum posts. Til next time, keep painting. :-) As promised in my last post, Episode 4 is now available for streaming and download. We continue to expand the show by including our first listener contest. We hope you enjoy the episode and that it leaves you feeling inspired to pull out the painting brush and get cracking on your models. Also, I've added a few new features to the site. Check out the banner links along the sidebar and the jazzy stat-tracker in globe form. If you'd like your website to be added as a "Friend of the Show" then please contact me. The Crossroads GT is quickly approaching and there is still plenty of preparations, so it's back to the (literal) painting table for now... |
